Evolve Building & Development was founded in July 2021 by individuals who have their own backgrounds in Real Estate, Property Management, HOA management, Construction, and Land Development.
In the brief time since Evolve Building & Development was founded, we have been successful in acquiring multiple pieces of land, engineering projects from Subdivisions to Mixed-Use Buildings, Master Planned Communities and Custom Homes.
Evolves Projects in Elk Ridge include two custom/semi-custom neighborhoods totaling 73 lots, Payson Multi-Family and Single Family - 11 Lots, Multiple Mixed-Use Buildings in Utah - 124 doors, Salem - 27 lots, Bluffdale - 6 custom home lots, Condo Projects in Vernal - 68 doors, and many more in the works!
Joe Wilkins
General Contractor - Developer
Joe Wilkins is a General Contractor who started his career in 1980 and has been an owner of all types of construction companies. Joe has owned and operated companies that do concrete work, framing, excavation, steel fabrication and worked through all the types of construction.
Joe has a BA in Business Finance from Brigham Young University. He started his own general construction company in 1996 to build Custom Homes and Land Development. As a general contractor Joe has participated in Land Development, Multi-Family Projects, Mixed Use Buildings, Custom Homes, Master Planned Communities, and The Utah Valley Parade of Homes where he has won awards including the Judges Choice Award.
Joe helped form Evolve Building & Development with Collin and Wesley in 2021. Since then, Joe has successfully spearheaded multiple projects through the approval process, with the support of his partners and team.
Collin Brinkerhoff was raised and taught all things under the real estate building and development umbrella. Growing up Collin was often found with his father, Roger Brinkerhoff the founder of Brinkerhoff Custom Classics, visiting job sites and attending meetings where he networked with other professionals in the industry.
In 2015, Collin graduated from Utah Valley University with a BS in Psychology. In January 2016, Collin earned his Real Estate License and quickly built a Property Management, HOA Management and Real Estate Portfolio. He has helped many types of investors build, grow, and manage their Real Estate Portfolios. Collin received his Broker's License in early 2020, following which he started Evolve Real Estate & Management and Evolve Community Management. Since then, Collin has made Utah County’s 2022 top 250 Realtors and continued to grow his portfolio through Real Estate and Development while closing 150+ deals since he started his Real Estate career.

Wesley Zufelt
Real Estate - Development - Finances
Wesley Zufelt grew up in construction and real estate. His father, Jimmy Zufelt, is a land developer and general contractor. Growing up Wesley worked on his dad’s sites assisting with site cleanup or helping trades during the construction process. In 2002 Wesley began working for his dad’s construction company, Jimmy Zufelt Construction, helping with the accounting. Wesley worked directly with the in-house accountant preparing budgets, cost analysis, draw requests, cost spreadsheets and processing accounts payable and receivables, using QuickBooks, Microsoft, and Adobe Products for 8+ years. He then took on the role of Human Resources Director over seven companies, managing up to 650 employees.
In August 2016 Wesley earned his Real Estate license in Colorado, and in 2017 adding his Utah Real Estate license, working both states for a few years before making the move back to Utah in 2019. Where he began helping Investors and Builders acquire land for development. Wesley moved his license to Evolve Real Estate & Management shortly after it was formed and partnered with Collin Brinkerhoff and Joe Wilkins to form Evolve Building & Development and fulfill a lifelong dream of Real Estate Development.
Wesley focuses on the Real Estate and Finances for the company, preparing investment analysis, budgets and proformas to help ensure successful projects for our Investors, Clients, and our Company all while helping to run day to day operations for the company.
